Singing Along To ‘Three Little Birds'

The song always gets me. Plus: I talk about MDK FLA's track from 2022.

On Thursday, the 21st of September, after a busy day working to put a floor in my writing studio, I sat down to edit a friend's journal article while I listened to music on my phone. Sometimes the songs just play on, but on a different day, you'll get a song that pulls you in.

This is my definition of great music: music that makes you want to sing along. Or maybe, it's easy listening music. But Bob Marley's ‘Three Little Birds' always gets me. Besides my door step!

This reminds me: whilst working the floor, the guy I was working with (he's into Frankie Knuckles), began talking about how Clarence Carter used to bang all the beautiful women. If you're a hot musician, you go around banging all the women, my guy said. He gave an example of Bob Marley as an artist with kids all over the place.

This made me think of Damian Marley. Of course, Marley had a big family, but how big was it?

Anyway, the day before yesterday, I wrote a bit about Justin Bieber; and Kings of Leon. I asked in that piece what music you were cooking MDK FLA answered. She said she's working on a new album.

This is what she said:

Hey. I'm working on a new album. Here's an unmastered cut I'm working on. Hope you dig it.

She sent a me a link to his unmastered track on Soundcloud. That's awesome. You can also send me links.

I'm not sure whether the track is recent or not. I'm talking about MDK FLA's Soundcloud song; cause on the platform, the song was released last year, 2022.
