Music Chose Me, Says Ms. Lyra Vega
Ms. Vega’s philosophy to making music is ‘having fun’.
L. SOJINI: Can you tell us about yourself? Where you’re from and what kind of musician you are.
MS. LYRA VEGA: L. Sojini, thank you so much hun for having me! You are an amazin, awesome individual, that I am very happy to have in my corner. You can have me anytime!!
Well, hello, Ms. Lyra Vega loves you. I am openly bisexual, and very creative.
Let me firstly express that to you. I'm very much spiritual, my weaponry and higher powers help me. They are very heavenly, natural, graceful, and divine. We all coexist on multiple planes.... which we call genres.
Lolz… electronic, ambiente, classical, space, Hip hop, rhythm and blues, club beats, opera, soul, pop, rap, rock and roll, and world music.
L. SOJINI: How did you get into music?
MS. LYRA VEGA: It's really as though music chose me!! It's in nature. Music is inert.
L. SOJINI: What do you think makes good music?
MS. LYRA VEGA: Um...good question. Lolz… I'd have to say, anything.
L. SOJINI: What are you currently working on?
MS. LYRA VEGA: Oh my gosh. I'm currently working on beats, playing catch up, and working on this wonderful interview with you.
I'm definitely promoting hand washing to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, it is the antichrist.
L. SOJINI: How do you approach music? As in, what’s your philosophy when it comes to making music?
MS. LYRA VEGA: Just having fun.
L. SOJINI: What are you most proud of to have achieved as a musician?
MS. LYRA VEGA: Remaining in the top 100. Currently I am in the top 40's. Thank you so much.
